Creeping Sharia

I try to be as multicultural as the next person, however, I can't help but feel that, even in our own country, there are shadow governments set up that are issuing their own decrees and judging people based on a set of laws that are completely contrary to the American idea of freedom and justice.  Those would be sharia courts, and I believe they are a threat to freedom.  Fortunately, Australia seems to see it the same way I do. The two quotes I love: 

"Australia's brand of multiculturalism promotes integration."

&

"If there is any inconsistency between cultural values and the rule of law then Australian law wins out."

Our society is already clamping down on freedoms and turning itself into a police state.  The freedoms we used to enjoy are slowly melting away.  I don't want to see my religious freedom go the same route as the rest of my freedoms.
